Cloud production is already Here

The Amazon Live Black Friday/Cyber Monday live streams were a huge success this year, produced mainly in the AWS cloud.

For certain workflows, it’s a reality today.

✅ full integration with the NYC studio

✅ Unity Comms with integration to the studio and Amazon Chime meetings

✅ fully redundant transmission path with automatic failover

✅ 30+ remote contributors including Kandi Buruss, Aeysha Curry, Snoop Dogg, Paige DeSorbo, Trisha Herschberger and more…

A huge shoutout goes to the team at Purple Tally Productions for providing the highly skilled cloud TD/Directors and operational support, all of the engineers in the cloud production Discord group, and the Amazon Live Production team for the excellent planning and support to make the tech run as smooth as possible.

When capabilities can be added to the cloud with just a few clicks, totally new workflows are possible. (Which is why we have multiple directors)
